Health Curriculum
The Health Education curriculum at Lincoln Middle School is designed to provide the students with the necessary knowledge and skills they need to lead a healthy life. The skills and knowledge that is taught in Health Education is built upon from 6th grade to 7th grade and on to 8th grade. The curriculum focuses on real life situations that the students might be facing in middle school. Students are encouraged to utilize their decision making skills and new knowledge to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Throughout the students education at Lincoln Middle School they will learn about Drug Awareness, Nutrition, Steroid, Body Systems, Bullying, Communicable Diseases, and Healthy Decision Making. The material progresses as the students graduate from sixth to eighth grade in terms of difficulty as well as scenarios that the students will work through.
